KKR vs SRH highlight, Ipl 2025 winner match-15

Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) delivered a dominant performance, beating Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) by 80 runs in Match 15 of the TATA IPL 2025 at Eden Gardens, Kolkata. After an early collapse, half-centuries from Angkrish Raghuvanshi and Venkatesh Iyer, combined with a brilliant bowling display, propelled KKR to a commanding 200/6. The Knight Riders then bowled SRH out for just 120, with Vaibhav Arora and Varun Chakaravarthy claiming three wickets each.

The match, a rematch of the TATA IPL 2024 Final, kicked off with SRH captain Pat Cummins winning the toss and electing to bowl first against KKR, led by Ajinkya Rahane. Cummins made an early breakthrough by removing Quinton de Kock in the second over. Mohammad Shami followed up in the next over, sending Sunil Narine back to the pavilion and putting SRH in control early.
Despite the early setbacks, Ajinkya Rahane and young Angkrish Raghuvanshi stabilized the innings with a composed and strategic partnership. Rahane looked particularly aggressive, and the pair added 81 crucial runs. However, Rahane's promising knock of 38 off 27 balls came to an end when Zeeshan Ansari struck—his clever reverse sweep was brilliantly caught by Heinrich Klaasen behind the stumps.
Raghuvanshi carried on the momentum and brought up his second TATA IPL half-century, his first of the season. But just as KKR looked to accelerate, debutant Kamindu Mendis got the better of him, dismissing Raghuvanshi for a well-made 50 off 32 balls, thanks to a sharp catch by Harshal Patel.
With KKR at 106/4 in 12.4 overs, a rebuild was necessary. Venkatesh Iyer and Rinku Singh rose to the occasion, launching an onslaught in the death overs. The left-handed duo smashed 78 runs in the final five overs, powering KKR to a formidable total of 200/6 in their allotted 20 overs.

Nitish Kumar Reddy and Kamindu Mendis attempted to rebuild the innings for SRH after early setbacks, but the pressure from KKR’s bowlers proved too much. Reddy was dismissed by Sunil Narine, and Mendis fell shortly after to Andre Russell, further denting SRH’s hopes.
The wickets kept tumbling as Varun Chakaravarthy joined the party, removing the in-form Aniket Verma and reducing SRH to 75/6. Heinrich Klaasen and captain Pat Cummins tried to mount a counter-attack, with Klaasen taking on Narine aggressively. But just as SRH looked to find some momentum, Vaibhav Arora struck again, dismissing Klaasen.
Chakaravarthy then delivered the knockout blow, taking two wickets in consecutive balls—removing Cummins and Simarjeet Singh—to leave SRH reeling at nine down. Andre Russell returned to finish the job, dismissing Harshal Patel to bowl SRH out for just 120.
KKR secured a dominant 80-run victory—the biggest win by runs in this season so far. The comprehensive win propelled KKR to fifth place on the points table, while SRH, struggling with form, dropped to the bottom.
